Who Am I?

I’m Rose- woodworker, small-space admirer, dreamer and co-founder of Rosey Spaces.

I’ve worked professionally with wood for the past five years, first building bespoke shepherds’ huts and then formally training through an apprenticeship programme at Rycotewood Furniture Centre. This has allowed me to work on some spectacular projects and hone my fine cabinet-making skills.

I accidentally found my passion for woodwork in my early 20s, when I decided to convert a rusty old van into my home on wheels. With nothing but a jigsaw and a drill in hand, I set about creating my tiny mobile cabin and fell in love with the process.

When lockdown arrived and travel was no longer possible, I sold my van, began my formal woodwork training and moved aboard a slightly less rusty narrowboat. Having to strip the boat’s dated interior completely, I created my perfect sanctuary; a marriage of my woodworking skills and experiences collected over the years. I fell deeply in love with designing and building small spaces all over again.

Through Rosey Spaces, I bring my passion to life, creating bespoke sanctuaries for you.
